1957 Triumph TR3 TS16942LO
Macy's
Garage
A Family Tradition Since
1932

We purchased this TR3 in December 2002 from this photo by the previous owner.
The car was located in Sarasota, FL, and following a 4 day road trip it arrived
home at
Macy's Garage on Dec. 31, 2002.
The car ran, but just barely. There was no interior, the wiring harness
was frayed and crumbling, and the fenders were loosely held on with 2 or 3 bolts
each, all finger tight at best.

Over
the next 6 months, we stitched up a concours quality interior, installed a new
wiring harness and top, re-hung all of the fenders and doors, and cleared up any
other mechanical problems that we found. The car was ready for it's first
outing in June for TRA 2003 in Wadsworth, OH.
This car has been very reliable, and it's the car we most often drive to car
shows, cruise-ins, and for pleasure drives in the country. On many
occasions we've even loaned it to friends to attend an event when their car was not
capable of making the trip. The paint is a little rough in places, but the
fun factor is so high with this one that we don't care!
